Twinkle's Seed Stitch Jacket - sleeve shaping

Twinkle's pattern in Vogue calls for armhole shaping based on front and back shaping for the sleeve openings. This was confusing indeed and the only way I could figure this out was to create a spreadsheet that appears below.


Sleeve Cap Shaping for Twinkle's Seed Stitch Jacket
Both sleeves can be knitted at the same time using the instructions below. The shaping for the left and right sleeves work out correctly because the knitted sleeves, inside and outside are reversible. On the needles, the first sleeve is the right sleeve with the outside (public side) facing you, the second sleeve is the inside of the left sleeve.
