Cable Front Cardigan

I just finished re-knitting the cable on this cardigan jacket because I did not like it. I try not to be so particular, precise and fussy, after all, it is hand-made and I don't mind it looking that way. But I have higher standards for myself and it bothered me to wear it knowing that I could have done a better knitting job at the border's edge. Ripping and re-knitting is never fun. When it was completed, I had less than two yards remaining from a dozen balls of yarn. It was stressful thinking that I might run out of yarn before it was finished and then what would I do? Happily, that wasn't an issue and now that I see it finished, I'm happy with how it turned out. Satisfaction - is there a higher standard?
